When a child is faced with a serious illness it affects the entire family. Dreams On Wings is designed to give those children and their families a day to forget about the issues they’re dealing with and do something few people get to do—FLY!!

Through the generosity of numerous individuals and organizations, the Dreams On Wings program provides a full day of entertainment--Limo rides, games, food, drink, clowns, and FLYING!!

You will be flown in one of a variety of aircraft donated by our highly qualified volunteer pilots. From a single engine Cessna to a helicopter to a business jet, you will have the opportunity to experience the thrills that pilots love. You will be taken on a 45 minute flight around the city of Birmingham. And the best part of it is that your immediate family gets to go, too!

Dreams On Wings 2008 will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Alabama Air National Guard Base at Birmingham International Airport, 5401 East Lake Blvd, Birmingham, Alabama 35217. All pilots, volunteers and participants must be registered prior to entering the Alabama Air National Guard Base.
